Vera Wang is well known as an overall fabulous designer and more notoriously known for her beautiful wedding gown creations. However, she started as a fashion editor at Vogue for 16 years, so when she began designing sumptuous, undeniably stylish gowns in the early 90's, they were a revelation! Suddenly, brides were able to look like modern women and not cake toppers covered in tool with huge bows, bad lace and puff sleeves. Jennifer Lopez, Jenn Garner and Uma Thurman are just a few celebrities who have chosen to spend their special day and share their vows in Vera. We have definitely come a long way in wedding gown designs and can thank Ms. Wang for being one of the first to pave the way to that much needed change.
