Count your Blessings!

This past Saturday night my cousin Antoinette Garcia lost her home to a fire. She lost EVERYTHING including her small dog Marley:( Thank God no one was home and everyone is safe but she has 4 children ranging from 6-18 and could use ANY donations your hearts may be willing to spare! PLEASE contact me if you'd care to help in any way! We are working together as a family but every little bit helps! They can use anything from Money to school supplies! Imagine having to start over and having 4 kids look to you for support, she is very grateful for all and ANY donations at this time.

Kids shoe size / age / clothing sizes are as follows:

Anthony -- 10.5 (18y/ o) (size men L, pants 34'32)
Margaret -- 8.5 (15y/o) (size (0-3) shirts med)
Giovanni -- 3 (8y/ o) (size 10 and med shirt)
and AJ -- 12 (6y/o) (size 6, shirts sml/med)

May her doggy Marley rest in peace and love and God bless those of you who have or decide to contribute to this tragedy in my fam! xo

YSL Top Secrets.

Ladies face it, make-up just looks better when you use a primer first. I have finally found one that is perfect for my skin, feels light, smells fresh and more importantly lasts throughout my entire day! YSL Top Secrets Primer is my secret to long lasting makeup. I was able to put it to the test at a wedding this past weekend and sure enough, at the end of all the wedding madness and dancing, I still looked great when I got home. I highly recommend this product to be a new addition in your make-up bags. It evens out the texture of your skin leaving a silky finish while adding a luminous glow. Comes with an attached brush applicator for ease and at $52 you basically get what you pay for, excellence:)

get it at your local Sephora or Department store!

Beauty Tip: ALWAYS clean your brushes daily! With baby wash or any soft anti-bacterial soap:)

R.F.F. - Corsets

The corset was most commonly worn in the early and mid- 1800's. They were considered a medical necessity for womens fragile bodies. The stiffer and heavier the framework (typically made of whalebone and even steel), and tighter the lacing, the fancier a woman was since she couldn't do any manual labor (let alone sit down and breathe) in such a contraption. Dita Von Teese brought the look back many years later and wears it beautifully although, we know that cinching ones waist to an un-natural 16"-18" canNOT be the least bit comfortable! Women are even taking it to an art form and doing "corset inspired piercings".  Too crazy for most, but interesting to look at nonetheless!
