The Perfect Winter Coat as seen on FORBES.COM

PrettyUnused was recently approached by Ms. Jenna Goudreau of FORBES.COM for our suggestions on what "The Perfect Winter Coat" might be. Here is what we said...

One of the ideal winter coats that come to mind whether it is for east or west coast climate would be the classic wool Pea Coat. You can wear this coat with literally just about anything and it adds that touch of sophistication to your look, all while keeping you nice and toasty! The pea coat is a great investment because it is a classic staple piece that never goes out of style! Different variations of the jacket might come along, but I believe the traditional double breasted pea coat is a winner! You also can’t go wrong with a good wool or wool cashmere blend trench! The silhouette is flattering on most and the belt cinched at the waist creates shape and clean lines instead of looking like a bulky mess! I would opt for the long traditional trench, not only to keep your bum warm but it appears more elegant and is definitely easier to dress up if need be!

Here are some great winter coat suggestions:

Guess - Double Breasted Pea Coat $128

Burberry tweed pea coat $995. Can’t go wrong with this stylish and cozy black and gray tweed pea coat!

BCBG - Funnel- Collar Trench Coat $608. This trench is a bit more modern with a slight military look however, it looks well-tailored and the high neck will definitely keep you warm while looking edgy.

Banana Republic – Monogram double-faced wool trench coat $250. This coat is sleek with clean lines, sits at a great length and looks great with scarves!

This Gucci kite coat is gorgeous and will definitely get all of your girlfriend’s attention but is quite pricey at $32,000. Never hurt to look right!:)

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and Black Friday! Don't forget to peep the sites 50% off of EVERYTHING sale!!! Decided to push it til Sunday and are feeling generous enough to throw in a special gift with each shipment over $50!
